The Finesse Institute, born in Pittsburgh, PA in 2017, was formalized in a small, now-closed, but forever known black owned cafe, Arnold's Tea, and has been the center of my universe for the past seven years. Beginning as a formal business writing company, transforming to a branding and graphic design epicenter, and eventually evolving to the centralized digital marketing powerhouse we are today, I couldn't be more thankful for this wild entrepreneurial ride.

When I started this company, I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going. I was fearful, apologetic, talented, and creative. My main goal was to "help small businesses look better". And that was it.

Today, I am happy to say we have been through the ringer with trials, tribulations, a big city move, business breakups, and personal heartaches, but by faith and forgiveness, we are still here.

Yet our mission is the same. As relationships grow or fade, community is forever. In the current climate, it is truly important to send energetic love and peace to those who you may not be directly connected to anymore, but your missions are still the same.
Thank you to all of my friends and family, past, present, and future, for the time and energy you shared with me. I hope I was able to share some of that same grace and presence with you all. As we move in new directions, we will never forget the people who woke us up, got us started, and keep us going.

Today, The Finesse Institute is operating under our moniker, Branded with Finesse, as we felt this subname was clearer and spoke more directly to our services.
Those services has been clarified to be more specific, detailed, and concise: email marketing, website design, and social media management.
Our clients are small business owners and startups seeking to enhance their brand presence and effectively reach their target markets and also:
Marketing managers who require insights on the latest trends and strategies for managing campaigns,
Nonprofit organizations focused on community engagement and fundraising efforts,
E-commerce businesses aiming to drive traffic and conversions,
Freelancers and consultants looking to market their services,
and creative professionals wanting to build their personal brand all fit within this audience.
Also known as, all the ADHD goal-driven, overextended, creative but don't have time to express it, community oriented, "all over the place", people-person people.
And our capacity has both shrunken and expanded to include community engagement events, branding and outreach for campaign elections, and professional business support services.
We are excited to welcome collaborations that promote community and small business development. We work with people who have a drive for improving the spaces that look like us, and we aren't going anywhere, we're getting it done right here at home.
